If you did load the custom firmware. Do this!

Press select at the homescreen and scroll down to UMD ISO Mode. then usind the left arro on the psp select M33 driver.

To get chicken software on there(used to load the custom firmware) just google it there are lots of tutorials

i want to upgrade from 3.90 standard to cfw 4.01 but my psp says “the game could not be started. (80020148)” so i try to chage kernel but i cant get to recovery menu. plz help.

my system version is 3.40 oe-a i when i download eboot pbp on update im go to games i click it then a errors said this game could not be started dadadadadda

It won’t let me upgrade. I have 3.10 OE-A. It won’t let me play any ISO’s (sonic rivals 2 and mtv vs mx untamed) I’ve tried upgrading but I seem to need to have 3.30 OE-A to upgrade to 3.40 OE-A etc. HELP!

I keep getting the error code “This game could not be started. (DADADADA)” everytime i try to update from 3.40 OE-A. Are you suppose to Hold R in the main menu cause its not working./

You have to do everything it says at the top, but you have to put the game you want to play in a ISO folder in the root of the memory stick, not MP root, instead of game150.
I did it with GTA and it worked, no sound though.
If anyone know about the sound thing please help me, and hope my answers helped you who couldnt play the games!!!

what if it still cannot play the game even if you are using 1.50 kernel

Dear Big Monkey,
Please answer as fast as you can. I have tried to change my kernel (1.50), I need a UMD to play games (GTA Liberty City Stories Patched version (update 2.60)), my version is M33-3, it has a TA-082 motherboard. I normally put the isos/csos in an “ISO” folder I made. I tried to play them while they’re in the “GAME150″ folder but they don’t appear in the XMB (MemoryStick). Tried to put them in the “GAME” folder and still don’t work. The new games (Sims 2 Castaway, Xiaolin Showdown and more) don’t work in the ISO folder and GAME150 folder.
PLEASE BIG MONKEY, HELP ME. THIS HAPPENED IN 3.40 OE-A TOO!
PLEASE I’M SO DESPARATE!!!
