How To Downgrade 1.51 - 2.70 without TA-082

For PSPs that are starting at Version 1.51 through 2.70 (without the TA-082 Motherboard) you first need to upgrade to version 2.71 using the 2.71 UPDATE

Download the 2.71 UPDATE and extract the files to your desktop.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Step 1.
Connect your PSP to the computer with the PSP USB cable, and connect your AC adapter to the PSP.
Step 2.
On your computer open the 2.71 Update folder. Inside you will find a folder called PSP. Copy the PSP folder and put it in the root directory of your PSP. It will overwrite the old one. See picture below.
Step 3.
In your PSP menu go to
- Game –> PSP Update ver 2.71
Press X. Follow the instructions.
This is a Sony upgrade so it should be fine.

Now go to Downgrade 2.71 without TA-082
